Charge to the Advisory Group
  • The Advisory Group's charge is to oversee administration of usage and scheduling policies for the University's sports facilities so as to ensure University programs and sponsored events are properly accommodated.
  • This charge is accomplished through development and recommendation of facility use criteria, policies and procedures as well as approval of the usage schedule where conflicts are known to exist.
  • Specifically, the Group will oversee usage associated with the following facilities: Redwood Bowl; Upper Playing Field; Campus Events Field; College Creek Soccer Field; Student Recreation Center; Fieldhouse; Recreation & Wellness Center; Forbes Gymnasium; Kinesiology and Athletics Building.

  • Doug Dawes, Vice President for Administrative Affairs
 
Meetings
  • The Advisory Group will meet once per semester with additional meetings as determined by the Chair.
  • A subset of the group will meet monthly with facility users to review usage requests and scheduling.
